Mavelikkara

Mavelikara is a Municipality in Alappuzha district of Kerala, India, spread over an area of 12.65 km2. It is in the southern part of Alappuzha district on the banks of the Achankovil River. Mavelikara is located 8km east of National Highway(NH 66). Mavelikara is known as the capital of Onattukara.
